Olle Jönsson started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Olle Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Pârcălab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Gottis short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Jan Mager to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Bruno Gotti sped through Brutal DeLuxe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Mager. With a little luck, Brutal DeLuxe's Jan Mager got control of the ball when Urs Nebunu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Olle Jönsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Carpathians's Basarab Pârcălab. Basarab Pârcălab was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jan Mager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Gotti in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Gotti in the 29th minute of play forced Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper Jan Mager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basarab Pârcălab didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olle Jönsson went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Gotti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Mager. That made the score 3-2 in the 39 minute of play. Jesper Markusson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Gotti to strike the kick off in the second half. Jan Mager showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Gotti in the 58th minute of the match. Jan Mager took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Gotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Gotti in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Mager prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Gotti in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Mager saved Brutal DeLuxe from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Bruno Gotti put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Mager. In the 68th minute, Claudio Gentile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvar Larsson got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jesper Markusson. In the 72nd minute Dudu Georgescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Mager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dudu Georgescu in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Mager saved Brutal DeLuxe from getting behind. After 73 minutes, Bruno Gotti made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Brutal DeLuxe's Jan Mager tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Oscar Gunnarsson scored 6-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basarab Pârcălab, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Jönsson in the 90th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Basarab Pârcălab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brutal DeLuxe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
