Osvaldo Vergaray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Modesto Socorro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falconara Albanese fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Staf Swings might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldo Vergaray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Staf Swings ran back to his position shaking his head. Falconara Albanese's Osvaldo Vergaray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Falconara Albanese from getting a goal against them. Osvaldo Vergaray made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Staf Swings sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Falconara Albanese eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
