Heitor Teixeira came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Challacó's Diego Nafarroa. But to his dismay, Diego Nafarroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Challacó's Norberto Eriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Anjos in the 15th minute of play. Nereo Garoa's late challenge caught a Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Garoa helped the player get up and apologised. Nereo Garoa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With his leg Heitor Teixeira managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Challacó's Atilano Otsando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Challacó's Atilano Otsando managed to work through Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Atilano Otsando dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 24 minutes into the game, Artur Fidalgo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Challacó the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Otsando in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heitor Teixeira saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. A collision led to Challacó getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Laureano Sabin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Nafarroa in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heitor Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Challacó's Atilano Otsando in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Challacó booed when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Morais didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Challacó's Atilano Otsando in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Otsando in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heitor Teixeira saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. Heitor Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Fidalgo in the 59th minute of play forced Challacó's goalkeeper Norberto Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregório Pereira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Otsando in the 64th minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Heitor Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Leheren charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Leheren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Norberto Eriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Morais in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Rozarius in the 88th minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Heitor Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Challacó booed when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Valadão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Challacó were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. for a fine match.
