Silvano Morais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernani França having to make a save. Ernani França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Morais in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Silvano Morais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Paulo Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Valadão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ernani França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Afonsinho de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinamo Web Clube's Ernani França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Morais in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baki Salat in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamilton Poças saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Morais in the 19th minute of play forced Dinamo Web Clube's goalkeeper Ernani França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Valadão. 22 minutes into the game, Rui Morais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo Web Clube the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 29th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Soares to maneuver through the defense. Fernandão de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamilton Poças read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Nuno Mourinho hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Paulo Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Hamilton Poças tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was a well-played corner which Leal Leitão managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 42 minutes into the game, Dinamo Web Clube's Baki Salat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hamilton Poças made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvano Morais to make the kick off. After 51st play minutes Gastão Cesário shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Ernani França and just under the crossbar into goal. Hamilton Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Gastão Cesário notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Dinamo Web Clube's Ernani França. Ernani França was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Leal Leitão fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s protests and gave Leal Leitão a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Leal Leitão. 63 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Carioca came free, but Hamilton Poças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Anjos in the 65th minute of play forced Dinamo Web Clube's goalkeeper Ernani França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Afonsinho de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamilton Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Nuno Mourinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 87 played minutes Dinamo Web Clube got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho de Barros. Jairo Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jairo Anjos hit a great ball.
