The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Manuel Valadão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Valadão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Oborski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 played minutes Zagłębie Dąbrowskie got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Aubertin. After 10 minutes, Daniel Borowski made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting a goal against them. Teobald Ruszczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamilton Poças having to interfere. Lucjan Oborski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Pereira in the 32nd minute of play. Teobald Ruszczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hamilton Poças tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Hamilton Poças managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Teobald Ruszczyk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teobald Ruszczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Daniel Borowski sped through Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hamilton Poças. When Manuel Valadão fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s protests and gave Manuel Valadão a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Valadão.

The wind increased when Silvano Morais made the kick off in the second half. Fryderyk Wiater kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Lucjan Oborski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Morais in the 54th minute of play. Hamilton Poças stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Borowski's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Daniel Borowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Hamilton Poças was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hamilton Poças showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Borowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Teobald Ruszczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Meireles. Hamilton Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Ruszczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Teobald Ruszczyk made a precise shot to the right of Hamilton Poças. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
