Silvano Morais charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Morais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Morais to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigue Davoust could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Hamilton Poças made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Hamilton Poças threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christian Castex, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 12th minute of the match Les Pionniers de Touraine got a corner. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jean-Pascal Berthelot ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jean-Pascal Berthelot made a great header on Les Pionniers de Touraine's corner, it was just that Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 23rd match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Morais to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Christian Castex managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Pionniers de Touraine's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Castex was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamilton Poças breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 played minutes, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Manuel Valadão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Régis Bastian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. reached it. Ibrahim Chapalain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Hamilton Poças when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Régis Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when Gastão Cesário came free, but Régis Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ibrahim Chapalain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hamilton Poças dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
Régis Bastian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gastão Cesário got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Régis Bastian. If Ibrahim Chapalain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Yvan Sabathe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Pionniers de Touraine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yvan Sabathe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Gastão Cesário. Ibrahim Chapalain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamilton Poças having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Ibrahim Chapalain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hamilton Poças made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Hamilton Poças, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ibrahim Chapalain came free, but Hamilton Poças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ibrahim Chapalain came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Les Pionniers de Touraine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ibrahim Chapalain couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes of play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Ibrahim Chapalain made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hamilton Poças was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 94 minutes, Gaétan Lamirand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les Pionniers de Touraine and the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when Les Pionniers de Touraine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaétan Lamirand didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Gastão Cesário got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Éder Rios kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Hamilton Poças showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Berthelot, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Les Pionniers de Touraine had played much better football throughout.
