When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Joel Forssell sped through AIF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Brenner. The audience thought a goal was coming when 汪希瑜 got free with Björn Ekegren in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute of the match AIF got a corner. SSC Ambrosini's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilhelm Alströmer ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Valdemar Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdemar Åberg scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Brenner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Alströmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Alf Kullgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Ambrosini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Gabriel Bäckström hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alf Kullgren during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AIF booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Kullgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Wilhelm Alströmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Alströmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of AIF booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Soned didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Serbülent Salim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Engström to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Forssell in the 42nd minute of play. If 汪希瑜 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Björn Ekegren was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Serbülent Salim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Serbülent Salim really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serbülent Salim made a kick off. Edgar Brenner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Åberg in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, 汪希瑜 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AIF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSC Ambrosini the free kick. 汪希瑜 kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. SSC Ambrosini's Gabriel Bäckström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edgar Brenner but with some difficulty. Valdemar Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Valdemar Åberg struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Edgar Brenner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Ambrosini. If Birger Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Dan Salqvist put in a rough tackle. The referee gave SSC Ambrosini a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alf Kullgren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AIF's Edgar Brenner. 1-4. AIF's Henning Strandberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Björn Ekegren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Björn Ekegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serbülent Salim, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Serbülent Salim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Björn Ekegren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Åberg came free, but Edgar Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Klemensson. Alf Kullgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SSC Ambrosini supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SSC Ambrosini would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
