Simon Martxelin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Ogică went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute, Rogelio Confesor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moritz Kran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Confesor in the 11th minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Moritz Kran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Calvino's late challenge caught a BVB 09's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Calvino helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Calvino. Lucrețiu Ogică took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Martxelin. Simon Martxelin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Simon Martxelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Caragea, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nemesio Gutierrez hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Octavian Caragea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVB 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavian Caragea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Martxelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ogică in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Ogică notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ripa FC's Simon Martxelin. Simon Martxelin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the game, Gigel Răduța cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Simon Martxelin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Calvino came free, but Moritz Kran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Ogică came free, but Simon Martxelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavian Caragea was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucrețiu Ogică got free with Simon Martxelin in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Octavian Caragea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simon Martxelin, 1-5. In the 64th minute, Lucrețiu Ogică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Caragea came free, but Simon Martxelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Martxelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ogică, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Hristo Stoichkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucrețiu Ogică's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Simon Martxelin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Simon Martxelin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucrețiu Ogică in the 72nd minute. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BVB 09! The excitement rose when Ripa FC's Marcos Gagriel after 81 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for BVB 09's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-5. Simon Martxelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ogică, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Simon Martxelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Caragea in the 87th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Ripa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BVB 09:s goal. Lucrețiu Ogică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Martxelin having to interfere. Basarab Iorgovan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ripa FC's Marcos Gagriel tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BVB 09 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
