The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Paniagua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonny Almqvist. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Jonny Almqvist made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Sérgio Silveira sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th play minute Mendoza Joseph came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonny Almqvist. 2-0. 13 minutes into the game, Hudiksvalls United's Ingvar Hökkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oso Amezaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls United's Jerry Norström got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sérgio Silveira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 17th playminute. Armando Paniagua struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jonny Almqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. GUAYACO. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when Hudiksvalls United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Norström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Arona came free, but Jonny Almqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonny Almqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Jonny Almqvist was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Armando Paniagua capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Armando Paniagua really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. 42 minutes into the game, Vincent Murieta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. GUAYACO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hudiksvalls United the free kick. After 42 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Murieta. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

Armando Paniagua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jonny Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ingvar Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Armando Paniagua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonny Almqvist. Hudiksvalls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Paniagua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After 57 played minutes Hudiksvalls United got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Norström. Armando Paniagua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Jonny Almqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Paniagua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Almqvist having to interfere. Armando Paniagua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonny Almqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. C.A. GUAYACO's Walme Saucedo was substituted for Vincent Murieta. The supporters of Hudiksvalls United booed when C.A. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Paniagua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonny Almqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mendoza Joseph went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Paniagua came free, but Jonny Almqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Armando Paniagua got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Luís Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the C.A. GUAYACO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Ferreira couldn't finish the play. Hudiksvalls United's Jerry Norström got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Jerry Norström off the ground. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls United's Jerry Norström got a free kick in the 90th minute. Jonny Almqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jonny Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonny Almqvist having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A. GUAYACO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hudiksvalls United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
