In the 7th minute, Mendoza Joseph ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rytis Paškevičius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When FC COSA NOSTRA's Stasys Povilaitis in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. GUAYACO's goalie prevented a goal. C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasys Povilaitis in the 19th minute of play. Agustin Pillado's late challenge caught a FC COSA NOSTRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Pillado helped the player get up and apologised. Agustin Pillado kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Agustin Pillado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rytis Paškevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes FC COSA NOSTRA got a freekick which was hit by Virginijus Žalpys. C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Mališauskas in the 34th minute of play. If Sérgio Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oso Amezaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasys Povilaitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stasys Povilaitis in the 42nd minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasys Povilaitis in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stasys Povilaitis to make the kick off. GUAYACO's Clemente De La Torre was substituted for Agustin Pillado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Mališauskas in the 74th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oso Amezaga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stasys Povilaitis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 75 minute of play. C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. Luís Ferreira replaced Mendoza Joseph. A wasted opportunity for C.A. GUAYACO. C.A. GUAYACO's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
