Zdzislaw Waselewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 4th minute Rudy Trotter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Veloso in the 6th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommy Bland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Creekers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Carlos Alberto Passos scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Bland, making the score, 1-0. Creekers's Tommy Bland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Creekers from getting a goal against them. Tommy Bland was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Fausto Senna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fausto Senna really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Tommy Bland was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ademir Aparecido showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Fausto Senna notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Creekers's Tommy Bland. Tommy Bland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 30 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Higgins. Tommy Bland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Pena in the 31st minute. Kip Connelly hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Senna in the 35th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommy Bland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfred Crowder's late challenge caught a Danone CC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Crowder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Crowder to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match, Júnior Veloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Bland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir de Almeida in the 48th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommy Bland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Tommy Bland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Mosiniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Danone CC's Fausto Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Bland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Júnior Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tommy Bland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Danone CC's Szczepan Mosiniak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Bland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 66 minutes into the game, Júlio Pena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Tommy Bland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Szczepan Mosiniak took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Bland. Tommy Bland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Senna in the 73rd minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommy Bland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Danone CC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Szczepan Mosiniak hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Senna came free, but Tommy Bland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Mosiniak in the 79th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommy Bland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Bland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Senna in the 80th minute of the match. Tommy Bland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Senna went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the game, Danone CC's Fausto Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Bland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. In the 87th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Trotter to maneuver through the defense. Danone CC's Otávio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Gamble in the 91st minute of play. Tommy Bland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rudy Trotter fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Creekers's protests and gave Rudy Trotter a yellow card for diving instead. Alfred Crowder kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Danone CC were the better team. Danone CC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
