Tommie Kirkpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szczepan Mosiniak in the 13th minute of play. Tommie Kirkpatrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 34th minute, Szczepan Mosiniak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danone CC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Veloso in the 38th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommie Kirkpatrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Creekers defense, Szczepan Mosiniak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick. The Creekers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommie Kirkpatrick should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Danone CC's Fausto Senna got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Szczepan Mosiniak came free, but Tommie Kirkpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Mosiniak in the 45th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommie Kirkpatrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommie Kirkpatrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Senna in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Danone CC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 50th minute, Júlio Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Danone CC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dinei de Medeiros hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Júlio Pena took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Tommie Kirkpatrick to make any attempt to save it. In the 62nd minute, Fausto Senna made a precise shot to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick. Creekers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 66th match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Ademir Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 minutes of play, Danone CC's Júnior Veloso made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommie Kirkpatrick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommie Kirkpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Júlio Pena notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Creekers's Tommie Kirkpatrick. Tommie Kirkpatrick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Vladimir de Almeida got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ademir Aparecido got free with Tommie Kirkpatrick in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Danone CC's Júnior Veloso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommie Kirkpatrick. That made the score 0-11 after 82 minutes of play. Júnior Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Creekers's Tommie Kirkpatrick got control of the ball when Szczepan Mosiniak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommie Kirkpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szczepan Mosiniak in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Gamble in the 93rd minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Bland to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Creekers's Tommie Kirkpatrick got control of the ball when Júnior Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danone CC played a much better game than Creekers and deserved their victory. The Creekers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
