Jefferson Souza came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Creekers's Tommy Cabrera. But to his dismay, Tommy Cabrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benjamim Rezende scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei Mesquita got free with Tommie Kirkpatrick in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Benjamim Rezende ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommie Kirkpatrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Cabrera in the 26th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Jefferson Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Creekers booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamim Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Creekers getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ari Laird hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Domingues in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommie Kirkpatrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Domingues spun around in front of the goal 38 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Creekers's goal. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Emerson Higgins got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Luiz Fabiano de Sousa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommie Kirkpatrick showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 43 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Higgins. Benjamim Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tommie Kirkpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommie Kirkpatrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Rezende in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Tommie Kirkpatrick came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Breguete FC's Rodrigo Domingues. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 58thth minute of the game Rodrigo Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Creekers's Tommie Kirkpatrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute Claudinei Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Kirkpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommie Kirkpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Breguete FC's Benjamim Rezende nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommie Kirkpatrick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Benjamim Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommie Kirkpatrick having to interfere. Tommie Kirkpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano de Sousa in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Creekers defense, Rodrigo Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick. The Creekers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommie Kirkpatrick should have stopped the shot. Cássio Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Mesquita came free, but Tommie Kirkpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Breguete FC's Luiz Fabiano de Sousa made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommie Kirkpatrick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jefferson Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gary Gamble in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Benjamim Rezende had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick. Creekers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamim Rezende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. After 89 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Cabrera. Emerson Higgins kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamim Rezende in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommie Kirkpatrick saved Creekers from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano de Sousa in the 93rd minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommie Kirkpatrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Benjamim Rezende put it in 8-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick. Breguete FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
