Peruanton Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otávio Dante's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Adalberto Gaspar hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes, Lorencio Ruelas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lea FC's Namık Hinoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lea FC's Diguinho Diniz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orlondo Mathey, made in the 12th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Hugo Bastos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peruanton Lago. Carqueja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Bastos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 21st minute, Chale Combarros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Lorencio Ruelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Namık Hinoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrico Montaña in the 32nd minute of play forced Lea FC's goalkeeper Namık Hinoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Namık Hinoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chale Combarros in the 34th minute of play. Namık Hinoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepe Feito in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorencio Ruelas in the 36th minute of play forced Lea FC's goalkeeper Namık Hinoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorencio Ruelas took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Namık Hinoğlu. Namık Hinoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Carqueja getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Chale Combarros hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Otávio Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peruanton Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chale Combarros was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Lea FC's Namık Hinoğlu got control of the ball when Chale Combarros tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Carqueja's Orlondo Mathey to fire away a dangerous shot which Namık Hinoğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Namık Hinoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorencio Ruelas went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Lea FC's Namık Hinoğlu got control of the ball when Chale Combarros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Namık Hinoğlu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. If Henrico Montaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Hugo Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peruanton Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Namık Hinoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorencio Ruelas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 90 minutes, Orlondo Mathey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carqueja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlondo Mathey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Lea FC defense, Lorencio Ruelas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Namık Hinoğlu. The Lea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Namık Hinoğlu should have stopped the shot. The Lea FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carqueja were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
