With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xosepe Feito in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinito Cifuentes saved Cuatrodeocho from getting behind. Quinito Cifuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Giral, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Quinito Cifuentes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Quinito Cifuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Giral, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Vergaray Echeto made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cuatrodeocho getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Allande Fuente hit a great ball. With a little luck, Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes got control of the ball when Lorencio Ruelas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quinito Cifuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chale Combarros in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Lorencio Ruelas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Quinito Cifuentes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Carqueja's corner Orlondo Mathey fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Quinito Cifuentes quite easily take care of the ball. Peruanton Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allande Fuente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Tobias kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Orlondo Mathey came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Carqueja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlondo Mathey couldn't finish the play. Quinito Cifuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorencio Ruelas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Lorencio Ruelas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quinito Cifuentes was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The Carqueja supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carqueja would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
