Egert Ilmatark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorencio Ruelas, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Valter Vaarandi's late challenge caught a Carqueja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC Muuga United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orlondo Mathey ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Carqueja's Orlondo Mathey to fire away a dangerous shot which Egert Ilmatark despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carqueja's Peruanton Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Onkel in the 26th minute of play. Chale Combarros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Egert Ilmatark made a huge save. Egert Ilmatark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorencio Ruelas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Carqueja's Peruanton Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuldar Vall in the 31st minute of play. The referee showed Tom Ellermaa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carqueja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kuldar Vall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janar Taelma made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Muuga United's Valter Vaarandi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Muuga United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orlondo Mathey was slow to take the kick. During this time Carqueja's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of FC Muuga United booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theobald Trubica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egert Ilmatark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorencio Ruelas in the 67th minute of the match. Egert Ilmatark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chale Combarros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Muuga United defense, Chale Combarros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egert Ilmatark. The FC Muuga United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egert Ilmatark should have stopped the shot. In the 77th match minute, FC Muuga United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Ellermaa to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, FC Muuga United's goal looked a bit too open when Chale Combarros came free, but Egert Ilmatark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carqueja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Theobald Trubica kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janar Taelma in the 89th minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Peruanton Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Carqueja booed when FC Muuga United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Onkel didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Muuga United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
