The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Jarl Eckegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Adelino Penha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of George Tomasson, 1-0. In the 7th minute, SALIMEN's Miguel Dantas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind George Tomasson. George Tomasson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When Med Gang FC's Emanuel Vedholm in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SALIMEN's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Emanuel Vedholm put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aníbal Branco. 16 minutes into the game, SALIMEN's Miguel Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Tomasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho Teixeira got free with George Tomasson in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. George Tomasson was a little too slow when Claudinho Teixeira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 4-1. In the 26th match minute, Med Gang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Fågel to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Teodoro Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Vedholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Branco having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Vedholm in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aníbal Branco saved SALIMEN from getting behind. When Med Gang FC's Emanuel Vedholm in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SALIMEN's goalie prevented a goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Vedholm to strike the kick off in the second half. George Tomasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Harry Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Tomasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Penha in the 64th minute of the match. Emanuel Vedholm struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Aníbal Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Med Gang FC. A hard shot 71 in the game by Emanuel Vedholm from a close distance when the talented Aníbal Branco managed to make a qualified save. SALIMEN's players were relieved. Aníbal Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Vedholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goalkeeper Aníbal Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Vedholm. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Eger during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SALIMEN getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Teodoro Eger hit a great ball. With his leg Aníbal Branco managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Med Gang FC's Emanuel Vedholm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emanuel Vedholm was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Emanuel Vedholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Björkqvist had several of the SALIMEN's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-4 score and a disappointed Aníbal Branco as he didn't even see the shot coming. Emanuel Vedholm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aníbal Branco came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Vedholm slotted it home off the left post making it 4-5 in the 95th minute. The SALIMEN supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Med Gang FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Med Gang FC.
