Aníbal Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Peru in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Cheche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aníbal Branco. SALIMEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edelmiro Cheche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Aníbal Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Peru's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Claudinho Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Edelmiro Cheche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timoteo Peru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aníbal Branco having to make a save. 17 minutes into the match, Timoteo Peru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aníbal Branco. Timoteo Peru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aníbal Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Timoteo Peru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berutti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Peru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Edelmiro Cheche made a precise shot to the right of Aníbal Branco. SALIMEN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some careless play in the SALIMEN defense, Timoteo Peru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aníbal Branco. The SALIMEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aníbal Branco should have stopped the shot. After having played for 32 minutes, Timoteo Peru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berutti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Peru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Timoteo Peru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 minutes, Adelino Penha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SALIMEN and the Berutti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adelino Penha hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Aníbal Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Peru's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Edelmiro Cheche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berutti FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The SALIMEN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Berutti FC were winning 0-5.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timoteo Peru made a kick off. Timoteo Peru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aníbal Branco having to make a save. Everardo Anaya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Aníbal Branco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Timoteo Peru notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of SALIMEN's Aníbal Branco. Aníbal Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Timoteo Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Peru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. In the 75th minute, Timoteo Peru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Cheche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Aníbal Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Peru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aníbal Branco was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After 84 minutes, Ernesto Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SALIMEN and the Berutti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. SALIMEN:s Aníbal Branco showed great skill when he stopped Gaudencio Inko:s penalty. When the match was over Berutti FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SALIMEN throughout the match.
