The supporters of Lagrima en Jarrita booed when Taquaral Campineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's Aquilino Argoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blair McCormick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Albino Steven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Sarracino was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Jacobo Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Lagrima en Jarrita getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lucas Herena hit a great ball. Blair McCormick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Homero Simpson in the 27th minute of the match. Blair McCormick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Argoitz in the 35th minute of play. Sílvio Luiz Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Taquaral Campineiro booed when Lagrima en Jarrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Txartiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Lagrima en Jarrita got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Cordario. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Argoitz to make the kick off. Blair McCormick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Argoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lagrima en Jarrita's Jacobo Pagomari got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 60 played minutes Taquaral Campineiro got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Reis. After having played for 61 minutes, Aquilino Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagrima en Jarrita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Argoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Taquaral Campineiro's Albino Steven made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Sarracino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aquilino Argoitzs short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Blair McCormick to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Raúl Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Blair McCormick acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emanuel Guillelme. Taquaral Campineiro's Charles Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Sarracino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Freire in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Albino Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blair McCormick made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Emanuel Guillelme sent off a good shot on target. Homero Simpson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Blair McCormick came out and tried to block the shot, but Homero Simpson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 86th minute. Manuel Cordario was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 90th match minute, Lagrima en Jarrita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Cordario to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Antunes in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Sarracino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
