The Circus BAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gaudencio Harri kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ronald Van Achteren helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fábio Cunha in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Herena saved Independiente from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Van Achteren came free, but Severino Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes, Gaudencio Harri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the Circus BAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaudencio Harri hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A collision led to Circus BAF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ronald Van Achteren hit a great ball. Severino Herena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lautaro Martínez Gullotta to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Henry. Teofilo Fernado lost his temper 51 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 51st minute, one of Independiente:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Independiente. Severino Herena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 63rd minute. Independiente's Severino Herena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. Samuel Namasivayam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Severino Herena made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kobe Mesmaeckers in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Herena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89thth minute of the game Kobe Mesmaeckers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Severino Herena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kobe Mesmaeckers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Severino Herena. That made the score 0-6 in the 94 minute of play. The Independiente supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Circus BAF's performance. The match ended with a win for Circus BAF.
