Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alf Lindmark kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Surahammar's Rudolf Larsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rudolf Larsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Surahammar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rudolf Larsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. With a little luck, Surahammar's Arne Ambjörnsson got control of the ball when Primitivo Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Rudberg in the 7th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Severino Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Per-Oskar Tinglöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goalkeeper Arne Ambjörnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Duarte. In the 18th minute Per Rudberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Independiente's Eriberto Satordi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arne Ambjörnsson. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Nicklas Hjortberg took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Herena. Severino Herena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With an all-out effort, Independiente's Arne Ambjörnsson threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eriberto Satordi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arne Ambjörnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Hanot went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute Per Rudberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Ambjörnsson was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Leonel Ordono capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonel Ordono really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The supporters of Independiente booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Tunberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Evelio Osorio got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Eriberto Satordi made the kick off in the second half. Surahammar's Arne Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Satordi in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calle Beck during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Surahammar got a freekick which was hit by Calle Beck. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Rudberg got free with Severino Herena in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arne Ambjörnsson came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Teofilo Fernado. But to his dismay, Teofilo Fernado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Rudberg in the 66th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Severino Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Herena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Rudberg's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Surahammar defense, Leonel Ordono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Ambjörnsson. The Surahammar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Ambjörnsson should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Surahammar's Per Rudberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Severino Herena. That made the score 6-2 after 73 minutes of play. The supporters of Surahammar booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Gombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Bergsten struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Severino Herena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surahammar. Eriberto Satordi took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Ambjörnsson. Arne Ambjörnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. In the 82nd match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Duarte to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Satordi. In the 85th minute of the match, Calle Beck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severino Herena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 92 minutes into the match, Eriberto Satordi notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of Surahammar's Arne Ambjörnsson. Arne Ambjörnsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Independiente were the better team. Independiente's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
