In the 17th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Ordono to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paris Latousakis in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Herena saved Independiente from getting behind. Kostas Karalexopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Primitivo Duarte to strike the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Fernado kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pagos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
