Cipriano Cugat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Hellgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Edorta in the 6th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Arne Ambjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, Baraja Española FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes of play, Baraja Española FC's Gregorio Tanio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Ambjörnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Baraja Española FC's Mauro Matos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arne Ambjörnsson. Arne Ambjörnsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Mauro Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baraja Española FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Ambjörnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Baraja Española FC's Delmiro Eliu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Delmiro Eliu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Baraja Española FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Delmiro Eliu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Delmiro Eliu hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Cipriano Cugat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Bergsten in the 24th minute of play. Cipriano Cugat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Lindmark's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Cipriano Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Brolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Ambjörnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Matos in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Matos came free, but Arne Ambjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Leonardo Brolin hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Surahammar defense, Mauro Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Ambjörnsson. The Surahammar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Ambjörnsson should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After 52 minutes, Alf Lindmark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surahammar and the Baraja Española FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Alf Lindmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Surahammar were furious when Rudolf Larsson was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Arne Ambjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Matos in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Baltasar Edorta made a precise shot to the right of Arne Ambjörnsson. Surahammar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Arne Ambjörnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Lamberto went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 68 minutes, Mauro Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baraja Española FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Surahammar's Arne Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Lamberto in the 70th minute of play. Arne Ambjörnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Theodore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Cugat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gottfrid Rang in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Cugat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Brolin. When Baltasar Edorta came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Baraja Española FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Edorta couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Baltasar Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Ambjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Baraja Española FC booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Östman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Bergsten kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. If Baltasar Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
