Jenipapo SC's Donato Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deen Castronovo in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deen Castronovo in the 16th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Donato Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Jenipapo SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aaron Spears took the corner. Ogro F.C.'s Joel Arantes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Donato Nascimento in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Donato Nascimento came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Ogro F.C.'s Alexandre Aposan. But to his dismay, Alexandre Aposan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 23rdth minute of the game Deen Castronovo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's Donato Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deen Castronovo might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deen Castronovo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute Leonardo Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Lopes. Donato Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deen Castronovo in the 28th minute of play. Donato Nascimento didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ogro F.C.'s Deen Castronovo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Deen Castronovo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Nascimento. Donato Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 37 minutes, Oscar do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jenipapo SC and the Ogro F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oscar do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Donato Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deen Castronovo in the 40th minute of play. Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Jenipapo SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aaron Spears took the corner. At last the ball reached Gualter Arce at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Jenipapo SC. 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Mike Terrana replaced Ramon Montagner. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão Travassos to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Deen Castronovo came free, but Donato Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lauro Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jenipapo SC's protests and gave Lauro Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Donato Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Mateus Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Oscar do Vale got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Ogro F.C.'s Aaron Spears ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Donato Nascimento. Donato Nascimento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. In the 69th minute Alexandre Aposan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Paulo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Pedro Paulo Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Travassos's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Donato Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deen Castronovo. 77 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Deen Castronovo came free, but Donato Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Ogro F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
