In the 3rd minute, Hidalgo Gallegos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loja S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute, Pedro Gudesteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pedro Gudesteo hit a great ball. Osman Tahir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justavino Centeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidalgo Gallegos in the 19th minute of play forced FC Montana's goalkeeper Osman Tahir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Hidalgo Gallegos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loja S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hidalgo Gallegos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osman Tahir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osman Tahir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osman Tahir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Peres in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Tansu Sağlamer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Tansu Sağlamer put in a rough tackle. A collision led to FC Montana getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tansu Sağlamer hit a great ball. When Pedro Gudesteo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Loja S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Gudesteo couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, FC Montana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acun Ersalmış to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthony Giorda to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match Loja S.C. got a corner. FC Montana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Gudesteo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Vedeja got free with Osman Tahir in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osman Tahir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Vedeja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Fabricio Vedeja recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osman Tahir. Fabricio Vedeja showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Vedeja got free with Osman Tahir in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes, Fabricio Vedeja made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Montana's Osman Tahir tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Loja S.C. booed when FC Montana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Giorda didn't get a good kick on the ball.
