FC Montana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andaç Mazlum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Odod Munggaran came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Osman Tahir could save by the left post. Freddy Suharyadi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Osman Tahir came out and tried to block the shot, but Freddy Suharyadi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Şensoy Usun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes in the game Feri Laksana after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Osman Tahir. A very good opportunity. Ziya Erdoğan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aktan İmren during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes FC Montana got a freekick which was hit by Aktan İmren. Osman Tahir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honestra Haridinata, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
