During this time Strömsbro IF's players had a chance to rest. 37 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Faas Marsal came free, but Luis-Miguel Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tony Skarkman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santo Everton. That made the score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Örjan Frisk made the kick off in the second half. If Örjan Frisk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Santo Everton was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Strömsbro IF fully deserved thier win.
