An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Ayuso in the 3rd minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Wilco Keldermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Vilas Boas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ayuso in the 10th minute of play. Delfim Vilas Boas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilco Keldermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Belchior Miranda got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Juan Ayuso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Decathlon Dudes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu Van de Poel to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Mathieu Van de Poel in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MZ Fénix's Severino Camargo. 37 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ayuso came free, but Delfim Vilas Boas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Rego hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Lázaro Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César Sousa having to make a save. 42 minutes into the game, MZ Fénix's Lázaro Oliveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. César Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Juan Ayuso made the kick off in the second half. César Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Oliveira in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Lázaro Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Wilco Keldermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper César Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. César Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Ayuso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Delfim Vilas Boas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Delfim Vilas Boas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilco Keldermans in the 77th minute of play. After 77th play minutes Wilco Keldermans shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Delfim Vilas Boas and just under the crossbar into goal. 80 minutes into the match, Wilco Keldermans notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas. Delfim Vilas Boas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Luuk Theunissen in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MZ Fénix's Emílio Valadares. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper César Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Severino Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MZ Fénix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Decathlon Dudes the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Severino Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas got control of the ball when Juan Ayuso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Ayuso. MZ Fénix succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Decathlon Dudes had controlled the match.
