If Yuri Paauwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th match minute, Fc Benefica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Roewen to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, MZ Fénix failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
