The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dan Vøge might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sílvio Hermes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Vøge ran back to his position shaking his head. If Dan Vøge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. LOBO 1908's Sílvio Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save LOBO 1908 from getting a goal against them. Rubens Souza hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, LOBO 1908 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Souza to maneuver through the defense. Victorino Fanuco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Sílvio Hermes made a huge save. Dan Vøge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Hermes having to make a save. Sílvio Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Vøge in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Kenney Højerby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Einar Klysnov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Dan Vøge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Hermes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Sílvio Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mai Quan Peng in the 40th minute. Sílvio Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Vøge's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Sílvio Hermes was a little too slow when Mai Quan Peng got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

55 minutes into the game, Adrianinho Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Einar Klysnov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sílvio Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Quan Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Vøge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Hermes having to make a save. Cosme Justin helped the player get up and apologised. 89 minutes into the game, one of Seed Town West:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Einar Klysnov went to the wrong direction when Alberto Arósio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, LOBO 1908's Rubens Souza got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
