After 3 played minutes Ralf Pettersson rounded Alexandrie CF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 6th minute Ralf Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabin Françoise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. József Murai took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabin Françoise. Gabin Françoise dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gabin Françoise made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Stor Klack sent off a good shot on target. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitri Goudard in the 13th minute of the match. When Ralf Pettersson came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Worst Team Ever fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Pettersson couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Ralf Pettersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Petter Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Worst Team Ever's protests and gave Petter Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Worst Team Ever got a freekick which was hit by Petter Hansson. In the 18th minute Gaël Pouchin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Rodrigo Mora got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lazaros Kotsiopoulos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralf Pettersson got free with Gabin Françoise in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ívan James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John-Paul Atlan's late challenge caught a Worst Team Ever's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John-Paul Atlan helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Alexandrie CF got a freekick which was hit by John-Paul Atlan. Gabin Françoise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stor Klack, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the game, Julien Ravet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Eguerdi made a kick off. Ralf Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gabin Françoise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Mora struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandrie CF. 59 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Goudard came free, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Worst Team Ever's Stor Klack made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabin Françoise was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gabin Françoise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Pettersson in the 68th minute of play. Julien Ravet hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Gabin Françoise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stor Klack, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Alexandrie CF's Julien Ravet got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandrie CF's Gabin Françoise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Pettersson in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Worst Team Ever's Ralf Pettersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabin Françoise made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.
