Ennu Eluvee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marijus Guzas in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of JK Shefid booed when FC Pegasas Siauliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deividas Pavilionis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Härmo Roovik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Audrius Dūdėnas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Audrius Dūdėnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Õigus in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Kiur Veetamm came free, but Audrius Dūdėnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ennu Eluvee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfas Karanauskas in the 13th minute of play. Gintautas Jameikis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Audrius Dūdėnas managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when JK Shefid's Arne Õigus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 39 minutes of play, JK Shefid's Georg Olt made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Audrius Dūdėnas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gintautas Jameikis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Georg Olt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Audrius Dūdėnas. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to JK Shefid getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gabriel Lõugas hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, Mart Aulik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JK Shefid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pegasas Siauliai the free kick. Mart Aulik kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Audrius Dūdėnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiur Veetamm in the 82nd minute of play. Audrius Dūdėnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Olt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88thth minute of the game Gintautas Jameikis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Shefid's Ennu Eluvee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Gintautas Jameikis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ennu Eluvee. JK Shefid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gintautas Jameikis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 95th minute, Marijus Guzas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ennu Eluvee was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
