With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedikt Lettinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, Oswald Binkert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Möhnsen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PMFC 2018 the free kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PMFC 2018's Norbert Demeter was substituted for Lóránd Borbás. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Vencel Káposztás charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vencel Káposztás the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PMFC 2018 getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Möhnsen FC's Benedikt Lettinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Gervaso in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Rudi Georgii hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 minutes, Leo Emmerich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Möhnsen FC and the PMFC 2018 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leo Emmerich hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Rigoberto Gervaso came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the PMFC 2018 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Gervaso couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Möhnsen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Gervaso came free, but Benedikt Lettinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedikt Lettinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Gervaso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Vencel Káposztás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Emmerich kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Benedikt Lettinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Gervaso in the 78th minute of the match. Rigoberto Gervaso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 78th playminute. In the 85th minute of the match Xerxes Kamper sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Béla Bíró skillfully saved the ball. If Edson Neidlein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Möhnsen FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing PMFC 2018 to win.
