Cristo Elivareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Barrialito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Cuartio. 25 minutes into the game, Bertil Åström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristo Elivareo. The supporters of Zero Hedge booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrialito AFC's Cristo Elivareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Åström in the 40th minute of play. The Jens-Ola Löv was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Zero Hedge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Python to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Leobardo came free, but Jens-Ola Löv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Socorro to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Amancio Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Jens-Ola Löv was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
