Carlos Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Luis Sindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Tino was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Carlos Tino came out of the goal and Julio Goito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Filiberto Pietro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Elano was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Elano in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Katia saved pciclon from getting behind. A collision led to pciclon getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Wilfredo Tonete hit a great ball.
