Clodoveo Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leandro Lazaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronaldão Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Lazaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ronaldão Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Foro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Leandro Lazaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ronaldão Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Leandro Lazaro came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Belfegor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Lazaro couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Barbosa. Ronaldão Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Lazaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Belfegor FC's Leandro Lazaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldão Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Benjamin Foro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldão Souza having to make a save. After some careless play in the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA defense, Benjamin Foro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldão Souza. The FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldão Souza should have stopped the shot. Ronaldão Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Foro in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomé Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Foro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão Souza having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's zone, Benjamin Foro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldão Souza came out of the goal and Benjamin Foro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belfegor FC made a substitution. Arnoldo Arixo replaced Facundo Colidio. 65 minutes into the match, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goalkeeper Ronaldão Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Foro. Clodoveo Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ronaldão Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Foro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Ronaldão Souza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 79 played minutes FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Velasco. Benjamin Foro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Ronaldão Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Foro in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Belfegor FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Lazaro. In the 90th minute Benjamin Foro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match Belfegor FC got a corner. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clodoveo Rosio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Clodoveo Rosio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronaldão Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
