The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Montellano got free with Eloy Vela in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Montellano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Vela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ariel Montellano went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lester Oñederra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Orixe, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Eloy Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Ramon Pedregal in the 22nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Eloy Vela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Montellano got free with Eloy Vela in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eloy Vela was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Ariel Montellano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ariel Montellano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Athletic Club Larrondo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
