After 22 minutes, Adolfo Tabby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salmuera CP and the FC Klavertje Vier players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Salmuera CP's Adolfo Tabby got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Robbie Yom dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eloy Vela, 5-0. Eloy Vela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Bartoli's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Claude Montens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustaquio Bartolis short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Eloy Vela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Claude Montens's late challenge caught a Salmuera CP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claude Montens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Claude Montens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustaquio Bartoli in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eloy Vela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Yom in the 41st minute of play forced Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Eloy Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Klavertje Vier reached it.

The wind increased when Paulino Orixe made the kick off in the second half. Robbie Yom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Salmuera CP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Georges-Philippe Jooris was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Klavertje Vier's players had a chance to rest. Robbie Yom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Klavertje Vier's Peter Rutgeerts was substituted for Erik Deckkers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Bartoli in the 62nd minute of play forced Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Eloy Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Claude Montens put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eloy Vela. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Klavertje Vier had won after a very even match.
