PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Nils-Emil Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 14th minute of play forced PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goalkeeper Nils-Emil Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Jacinto de Azevedo threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flavinho Mandrak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nils-Emil Ekström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto das Neves's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Nils-Emil Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 26th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Pombal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavinho Mandrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Luiz Fábio Galvão, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jacinto de Azevedo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gualter Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto de Azevedo having to interfere. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
