Winthont FC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Limburg United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gert Jan van Westerop took the corner. The corner led Winthont FC's Gert Jan van Westerop to fire away a dangerous shot which Julius Vanneste despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alex de Rudder struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Julius Vanneste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winthont FC. In the 18th minute, Alex de Rudder made a precise shot to the right of Julius Vanneste. Limburg United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Debecker. 30 minutes into the match, Gert Jan van Westerop notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Limburg United's Julius Vanneste. Julius Vanneste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 minutes, Marnix Mastebroek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winthont FC and the Limburg United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Winthont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marnix Mastebroek to maneuver through the defense. Winthont FC's Alex de Rudder got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Alex de Rudder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julius Vanneste was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Gert Jan van Westerop hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Alex de Rudder came free, but Julius Vanneste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Limburg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Demarez to maneuver through the defense. The Limburg United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Winthont FC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philip Toeback was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Alex de Rudder made a precise shot to the right of Julius Vanneste. Limburg United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. If Alex de Rudder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jan Tevreden hit a great ball. Winthont FC's Jacobus Lubbers was substituted for Gert Jan van Westerop. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Tevreden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Toeback in the 70th minute of play. Dennis Beerthuis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Toeback, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kadim Argun struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Julius Vanneste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winthont FC. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. Julius Vanneste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kadim Argun in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Limburg United's goalkeeper Julius Vanneste, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Luke Demarez got a free kick in the 87th minute. Julius Vanneste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Tevreden, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Filip Bennink hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philip Toeback in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Beerthuis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pascall Kolman hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Toeback in the 95th minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julius Vanneste made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Kadim Argun sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle went the supporters of Winthont FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Limburg United side.
