After 10 played minutes, Çanakkale's Salih Kaveloğlu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernan Eudoxio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Çanakkale reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsmail Cem Eroğlu in the 12th minute of play forced Locura Académica's goalkeeper Hernan Eudoxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çanakkale's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ali Haydar Uçkun in the 13th minute. Ali Haydar Uçkun made a great header on Çanakkale's corner, it was just that Locura Académica's Hernan Eudoxio managed to reach the ball for a save. 19 minutes into the match, Çanakkale's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Mundo came free, but Gökmen Çoğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jairo Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locura Académica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökmen Çoğa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Halil Baytekin's late challenge caught a Locura Académica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halil Baytekin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Çanakkale getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Halil Baytekin hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match Angel Firmo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gökmen Çoğa skillfully saved the ball. Sedat Özender kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Çanakkale booed when Locura Académica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Çanakkale were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Koray Tibet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Hernan Eudoxio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 59 minutes into the game, Koray Tibet lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Hernan Eudoxio. In the 65th minute, Sedat Özender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Lartaun kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Koray Tibet had several of the Locura Académica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Hernan Eudoxio as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Koray Tibet got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ali Haydar Uçkun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Hernan Eudoxio made a huge save. In the 94th match minute, Locura Académica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Joey to maneuver through the defense. Jairo Domingues's late challenge caught a Çanakkale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çanakkale's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
