Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Murathan Mehmet started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Çanakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sedat Özender to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Alnes to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, one of Çanakkale:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Çanakkale. Gökmen Çoğa had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Petter Vartdal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. İsmail Cem Eroğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Runar Støen having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murathan Mehmet in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Runar Støen saved Åsnes from getting behind. When Åsnes's Kim Alnes in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Çanakkale's goalie prevented a goal. Runar Støen came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Çanakkale's Murathan Mehmet. But to his dismay, Murathan Mehmet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Murathan Mehmet came free, but Runar Støen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Kim Alnes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gökmen Çoğa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 30th minute, İsmail Cem Eroğlu made a precise shot to the right of Runar Støen. Åsnes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 33 minutes into the game, Åsnes's Jonathan Vie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gökmen Çoğa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. John-Einar Bøen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Roman Bide made a precise shot to the right of Gökmen Çoğa. Çanakkale's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After some careless play in the Çanakkale defense, Kim Alnes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gökmen Çoğa. The Çanakkale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gökmen Çoğa should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kim Alnes was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Kim Alnes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gökmen Çoğa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. The throw-in from Poyraz Erçetin in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Çanakkale's Mustafa Kemal Oncu. 69 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Cem Eroğlu came free, but Runar Støen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murathan Mehmet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Çanakkale's zone, Roman Bide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökmen Çoğa came out of the goal and Roman Bide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Alnes in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gökmen Çoğa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Åsnes's Jonathan Vie got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Åsnes's Kim Alnes in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Çanakkale's goalie prevented a goal. The Åsnes fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Åsnes's Kim Alnes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 91st minute, Åsnes's Kim Alnes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gökmen Çoğa. Gökmen Çoğa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. The Åsnes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Åsnes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
