The referee ignored Elefanterna's protests and gave Bernt Ahlkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Bernt Ahlkvist hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Håkan Hök showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trayko Mendov in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Henrik Häger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Afloroaiei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elefanterna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henrik Häger in the 18th minute. The corner led Elefanterna's Henrik Häger to fire away a dangerous shot which Horea Afloroaiei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Elefanterna's Håkan Hök proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Elefanterna from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Elefanterna's goal looked a bit too open when Trayko Mendov came free, but Håkan Hök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes Elefanterna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romeo Giurăscu who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Marius Levința drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Elefanterna's goalkeeper. The supporters of Elefanterna booed when Vlashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Dragu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Petrică Dragu could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Håkan Hök however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petrică Dragu got free with Håkan Hök in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trayko Mendov to make the kick off. Håkan Hök stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trayko Mendov's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. When Kristoffer Kondor came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Elefanterna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristoffer Kondor couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Häger got free with Horea Afloroaiei in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 minutes Elefanterna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romeo Giurăscu who took care of the corner kick. After 57 played minutes Vlashers got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Dragu. After 64 played minutes Elefanterna got a freekick which was hit by Sivert Sill. In the 66th minute Marius Levința shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Hök saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristoffer Kondor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horea Afloroaiei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Göran Iller suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Marius Levința's late challenge caught a Elefanterna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vlashers's Marius Levința got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 81 played minutes Elefanterna got a freekick which was hit by Sivert Sill. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trayko Mendov in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Hök saved Elefanterna from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sivert Sill got free with Horea Afloroaiei in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romeo Giurăscu charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Giurăscu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Vlashers got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Giurăscu. After a defensive mix-up in Vlashers's zone, Johnny Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horea Afloroaiei came out of the goal and Johnny Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Dragu in the 92nd minute of play forced Elefanterna's goalkeeper Håkan Hök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlashers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Elefanterna for a fine match.
