He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.S. Udinese reached it. A.S. Udinese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Remigiusz Sowa in the 17th minute. With a little luck, A.S. Udinese's Gigi Donnarumma got control of the ball when Aloísio Chulapa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filippo Di Cesare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogério Ceni having to make a save. A collision led to Divina Comédia FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Vito Arruda hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Remigiusz Sowa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogério Ceni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 29 played minutes A.S. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Di Cesare. Pedrão Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gigi Donnarumma made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eraldo Motta was the one to do the kick off. Filippo Di Cesare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Ceni having to interfere. Udinese's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
