An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Seychell in the 9th minute of play forced Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goalkeeper Pawel Janiczek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clayton Gerada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateusz Oryniak in the 15th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrew Miggiani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pawel Janiczek. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Robert Seychell put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pawel Janiczek. Julian Pryla's late challenge caught a Seraċini Għawdxin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrew Miggiani was the one to do the kick off. Clayton Gerada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Logewnik in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Andrew Miggiani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pawel Janiczek was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Zygmunt Logewnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Clayton Gerada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Antoine Bugelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Pawel Janiczek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zygmunt Logewnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Clayton Gerada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Robert Seychell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Janiczek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawel Janiczek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Pavia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrew Miggiani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wicher Wilchwy Come Back players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Seraċini Għawdxin.
