Pawel Janiczek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Seychell in the 5th minute of the match. Clayton Gerada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateusz Oryniak in the 8th minute. Seraċini Għawdxin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Pavia in the 10th minute. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Pawel Janiczek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Pavia in the 12th minute of play. Julian Pryla's late challenge caught a Seraċini Għawdxin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Pryla helped the player get up and apologised. Pawel Janiczek came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Seraċini Għawdxin's Robert Seychell. But to his dismay, Robert Seychell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Wicher Wilchwy Come Back defense, Andrew Miggiani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pawel Janiczek. The Wicher Wilchwy Come Back fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pawel Janiczek should have stopped the shot. Robert Seychell scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pawel Janiczek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Oryniak got free with Clayton Gerada in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goal looked a bit too open when Wayne Schembri Zerafa came free, but Pawel Janiczek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pawel Janiczek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Seychell, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 28th minute, Robert Seychell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pawel Janiczek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The supporters of Wicher Wilchwy Come Back booed when Seraċini Għawdxin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoine Bugelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoine Bugelli in the 36th minute of play forced Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goalkeeper Pawel Janiczek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Julian Pryla got a free kick in the 37th minute. Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Gerada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Seraċini Għawdxin from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the game, Robert Seychell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Pawel Janiczek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Andrew Miggiani made the kick off in the second half. Clayton Gerada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Logewnik in the 51st minute of play. Robert Seychell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seraċini Għawdxin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artur Mosiniak was slow to take the kick. During this time Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's players had a chance to rest. Clayton Gerada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Oryniak in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Pawel Janiczek got control of the ball when Richard Pavia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pawel Janiczek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoine Bugelli in the 69th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Antoine Bugelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seraċini Għawdxin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Pavia got free with Pawel Janiczek in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Pryla hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Pawel Janiczek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Miggiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Seraċini Għawdxin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wicher Wilchwy Come Back.
