Cornelio Asteri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Segundo Balendin went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 9 minutes into the match, Honorato Aureo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Guansa's Cornelio Asteri. Cornelio Asteri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Isidoro Baristo hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Honorato Aureo made a precise shot to the right of Cornelio Asteri. Guansa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Cornelio Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Eztebe in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Hector Terciero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Honorato Aureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Balendin came free, but Cornelio Asteri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Isidoro Baristo made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute of the match Segundo Balendin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornelio Asteri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vikingos FC's Leon Garci was substituted for Gonzalo Argoitz. Oscar Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Baristo in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Segundo Balendin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mauro Ordono fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guansa's protests and gave Mauro Ordono a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Desiderio Modestio hit a great ball. Cornelio Asteri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Balendin in the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Vikingos FC's Segundo Balendin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Asteri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When the final whistle sounded Vikingos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guansa.
