In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind UNITED GWAREK's goalkeeper Olaf Zacharzewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Barone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Olaf Zacharzewski made a huge save. Fabiano Monaco's late challenge caught a UNITED GWAREK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Monaco helped the player get up and apologised. Fabiano Monaco hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Barone got free with Olaf Zacharzewski in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, UNITED GWAREK's Olaf Zacharzewski got control of the ball when Armando Barone tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Armando Barone sped through UNITED GWAREK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olaf Zacharzewski. A collision led to UNITED GWAREK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jerzy Radzyminski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Pilsudski in the 36th minute of play forced S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Emilio Cellucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UNITED GWAREK's Olaf Zacharzewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save UNITED GWAREK from getting a goal against them. Armando Barone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Olaf Zacharzewski made a huge save. Emilio Cellucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Debkowski in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliusz Pilsudski to make the kick off. Olaf Zacharzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Barone, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Armando Barone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.S.C. NAPOLI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Barone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olaf Zacharzewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Barone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Barone scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olaf Zacharzewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 minutes of play, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Armando Barone made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Zacharzewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Armando Barone notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of UNITED GWAREK's Olaf Zacharzewski. Olaf Zacharzewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olaf Zacharzewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Barone in the 75th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Armando Barone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Ciccio Bozzelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Zacharzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the S.S.C. NAPOLI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
