With a little luck, Golden Tigers's José Alberto Chilavert got control of the ball when Tekin Onay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tekin Onay succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. Txomin Gala kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. José Alberto Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allande Pola in the 17th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Golden Tigers's Sameer Taqi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejandro Nobo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mohammad Al Ateqi's late challenge caught a Asturcones d´la Abadía's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohammad Al Ateqi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Asturcones d´la Abadía booed when Golden Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Al Ateqi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Golden Tigers's Sayer Al Besher got a free kick in the 40th minute. José Alberto Chilavert made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Tekin Onay sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

José Alberto Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allande Pola in the 51st minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Allande Pola made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Alberto Chilavert was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Golden Tigers's Ali Al Towatan got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to Golden Tigers getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Sayer Al Besher hit a great ball. When Asturcones d´la Abadía's Tekin Onay in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Tigers's goalie prevented a goal. If Sayer Al Besher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Golden Tigers booed when Asturcones d´la Abadía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marino Babia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Asturcones d´la Abadía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Arias to maneuver through the defense. If Allande Pola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Hakem Al Attar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Hakem Al Attar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Nobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 93 minutes, Abelardo Justo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asturcones d´la Abadía and the Golden Tigers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Alejandro Nobo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Asturcones d´la Abadía from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the game, Allande Pola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. José Alberto Chilavert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Asturcones d´la Abadía had won after a very even match.
