Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronaldo Ramos started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Grêmio FBPA defense, Saul Iruinea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Varela. The Grêmio FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Varela should have stopped the shot. After 12 minutes of play, Alijilán returns's Saul Iruinea made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Rui Varela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alijilán returns were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Grêmio FBPA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolando Olayo took the corner. Rui Varela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saul Iruinea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 27th minute, Jimeno Seme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Sagrario got free with Rui Varela in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Alijilán returns's Cesar Sagrario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rui Varela. Rui Varela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Alijilán returns's Leandro Garate slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rui Varela. That made the score 6-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 38th match minute, Grêmio FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Santana to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Grêmio FBPA defense, Jimeno Seme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Varela. The Grêmio FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Varela should have stopped the shot. After 43 minutes of play, Alijilán returns's Leandro Garate made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rui Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Sagrario in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Iruinea made a kick off. Rui Varela came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Alijilán returns's Cesar Sagrario. But to his dismay, Cesar Sagrario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 58th minute, Saul Iruinea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Armando Andrade hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Rui Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Garate, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Iruinea came free, but Rui Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Alijilán returns were awarded a corner. Rolando Olayo went to the cornerflag to take it. Saul Iruinea made a great header on Alijilán returns's corner, it was just that Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela managed to reach the ball for a save. After 71 minutes of play, Alijilán returns's Saul Iruinea made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Saul Iruinea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alijilán returns fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Rui Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Sagrario in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio FBPA's zone, Saul Iruinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Varela came out of the goal and Saul Iruinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Saul Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Saul Iruinea notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela. Rui Varela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Iruinea in the 93rd minute of play. Jimeno Seme's late challenge caught a Grêmio FBPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Seme helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Grêmio FBPA booed when Alijilán returns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Seme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Andrade came free, but Lino Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Alijilán returns players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
